This is a complete package, however, there are (2) issues we sometimes encounter on installations which are not included as standard in our set packages as they are only occasionally required, so we find it best and most appropriate to just charge them as an extra on those jobs.

1) On any jobs where we have allowed to complete the electrical work in relation to the job we are doing for you, should the wiring be substandard or have an issue resulting in the electrician having to rewire back to the switchboard to make the installation safe, or should it be old and not up to current electrical safety standards meaning the electrician cannot certify the job without making changes, or by adding an RCD, this would be an extra charge as we are unable to detect this at the point of quoting the job. We have just allowed for a straight forward basic connection which is the normal job we would have to do in most circumstances. Our package will include up to $290 exc GST of electrical work to have your switch connected for the electronic ignition.

2) And occasionally we find the old shower mixer(s) in some cases don’t work well or are really noisy with a new high-pressure hot water system, so if you have upgraded from low pressure, you may need to either modify or upgrade the shower mixer(s). This is not included either in our standard package deals as it is quite rare now, however, we can arrange a solution to the problem for you should there be an issue once we test the new system.
